On reflection, it was always going to be a tough game with just 11 players, said manager Steve Griffiths
"We had a good start, although playing into the wind, and had a good run of the ball for the first 10 minutes, only a fine save preventing us taking an early lead followed by another good chance. Cruckton nicked their first goal on the break and we dropped off after that giving them the time they needed and they found their feet scoring another three before half time."
"We started the second half with 10 men owing to injury and no available substitutes so we had to tinker with our shape and shifted to three at the back. We kept the ball down and played some good football scoring twice in the 60th and 65th minutes to give us some hope."
"Unfortunately, we then conceded a couple more going down 6-2 but against a top Division One side I'm pleased that we didn't make it too easy for them and there's loads of positives going forwards."
"Good luck to Cruckton in the next round"
